Madonna comes from the eastern part of Michigan (although you could never tell with the faux British accent and her hate for the area) and has been dubbed the Queen of Pop. Madonna originally got into singing as a backup for a disco artist before forming a rock band known as the Breakfast Club. After being discovered by Sire Records, Madonna quickly became a singing sensation with her self-titled debut album. More than 30 years later, Madonna is still performing sell-out shows in arenas across the world.

One of the biggest draws for Madonna early in her career was the way she looked. Not only was she gorgeous, but there was a mystique about her that people wanted to see firsthand. Madonna still tries to hang onto her younger appearance, but she tries way too hard like so many aging celebrities. There are some people that still think she’s a hottie, but Madonna gives off the impression of a grandmother that is trying to be ‘hip’ with all the ‘cool cats.’

After disappearing from movies and television for a period of time, we finally saw her again in “Celebrity Fit Club.” The LeBrock we saw was completely different from the beauty of the past as the extra weight and plastic surgery had taken a major toll on the former hottie. Even after losing most of the weight, it couldn’t offset what surgery had done.

When Lindsay Lohan first started out as a child actress, she was the super adorable freckle-faced girl from the Parent Trap remake. The public was in admiration of her acting ability, and were overjoyed to see it translate well as she transitioned as an older actress. Her portrayal in Mean Girls was equally celebrated, and people even embraced her attempt at a singing career. In 2006, she had already released a few studio albums, which were actually received pretty well. While there was some chatter about her poor work ethic and even some substance abuse issues, the world was still hopeful that everything would turn out well in the end. She was seen on the red carpet looking stunningly beautiful, and changed around her hair color a few times to get away from the orangish red tone from her youth. Nowadays, it’s difficult to think about on the glory days of Lindsay Lohan, since there has been so much drama to muddy the waters. At 30-years-old, she now looks practically 40 from all the years of hard partying, and it’s noticeable that her faced has been tweaked with a bit.

Jack Nicholson is one of the most accomplished actors of all-time, and has been regarded as having the most range for anyone to ever enter Hollywood. We have seen Nicholson in a variety of roles such as crazy characters (like in “The Shining”), tough guys (like in “The Departed”), and funny guys (like in “Anger Management”). Nicholson has received more nominations than any other actor at the Academy Awards, as he has been up for a dozen awards during the span of his career.

For those of us who are still very young, we do not remember what Jack Nicholson looked like early in his career. To us, he has always been an older Hollywood celebrity. Believe it or not, Nicholson was actually considered by many to be a suave symbol who was able to gather about 100 women around him with the snap of a finger. Nicholson can probably still do that, but it’s probably more because of the wealth than his scraggly old man-like looks.

Val Kilmer started his career at the famed Juilliard School where he starred in a play that he wrote. People were impressed enough by his acting and writing talent that he was offered a role in “The Outsiders.” Kilmer turned down the role but was later cast in Hollywood hits anyway, earning his first leading movie role in the comedy film “Top Secret!” Kilmer has since been in multiple hit movies that include “Top Gun,” “The Doors” and “Batman Forever”.

One of the basic elements of playing Batman is that you have to be really good looking. At the time, Kilmer was a very good looking guy, but today, he doesn’t look anything close to the caped crusader, especially when you consider the other guys that have since played the character. Kilmer’s looks have faded significantly, leading him to be the cause of many jokes. There was even a gag in “American Dad” where there was a theory that Kilmer had been cursed by Oprah Winfrey to slowly transform him into a pumpkin.

When Pamela Anderson was first introduced to mainstream audiences through her iconic portrayal in Baywatch, the public couldn’t get over how phenomenally beautiful this Barbie lookalike was. While some remembered her from her small part in the television series, Home Improvement, things truly started to explode for her once she started running down the beach in her red lifeguard swimsuit. She was also highlighted in Playboy, and was even the Playmate of the Month in February of 1990. In 2006, Anderson had still maintained the same iconic beauty status from her Barbwire days, and was even inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame. She made a few appearances on The Girls Next Door, and was a definite favorite of Hugh Hefner. Yet, her face has made some significant changes in recent years. She did make a drastic change to her hairstyle, debuting a shorter look, which many felt was a much more age-appropriate style. However, she didn’t coordinate with her makeup. Still trying to pull off the same overly done makeup from her youth, she is starting to look more like Baby Jane rather than Barbie doll.
